Pigeon Shooting "with a difference" is the second pigeon shooting video and once again features our pigeon shooting gamekeeper Geoff Garrod. Once again Geoff uses his prefered traditonal methods ie flightlines ,good hide building and well set decoy patterns. As well as the standard methods of shooting we also take a look at other methods namely Roost Shooting and Tower Shooting .
A keen novice shooter "Jamie Patterson" wrote to us and asked for some advice on shooting pigeons. We went one better and invited him to join Geoff for a couple of days. Geoff provided Jamie with plenty of useful tips and hands on training. The end result was plenty of birds shot and Jamie's decoying and general shooting technique has improved. Even on a day when nature seemed out to get them they still managed a good bag.
The tower shooting section is a departure from the norm and shows an excellent way to enhance the sporting aspect of pigeon shooting. The challenging conditions certainly tested Geoff's shooting skills to the limit and provided Geoff with an exciting day's sport.
